New in 2025

NFTABLES: New Client

With the current SIP/HTTP dataset having (sometimes) several thousand active IP addresses, the community has asked for a simple way to use nftables with APIBAN.

Launched in the beginning of 2025, apiban-client-nftables integrates APIBAN data into nftables; helping your system deal with large amounts of ip addresses efficiently.

NFTABLES: Local API

Want to easily block IPs in a local nft dataset? There's an open source API for that. ;)

New Feature: FLUSHAFTER

Launched in June, the FLUSHAFTER field takes advantage of nftables' ability to handle HUGE datasets. Instead of the default 7 day hold period, you can now choose how long apiban addresses should be blocked.

As always...

We're extremely grateful to the continued support of our sponsors and Ivan Nyarko (did you check out Ivan's open relay tester?). Our sponsors keep this service free. Please let them know your appreciation.
